I guess what I'm getting at alongside or beyond the choice of engines is how to manage multiple blogs:

Should each blog have a clearly defined purpose?
Should you do anything to aggregate the blogs?

<p>I guess what I'm getting at alongside or beyond the choice of engines is how to manage multiple blogs:</p>
<ol>
<li>Should each blog have a clearly defined purpose?</li>
<li>Should you do anything to aggregate the blogs?</li>
<li> Do certain kinds of blogs need certain features?</li>
<li>Do you give each blog a distinct visual identity?</li>
<li>To what extent do your answers to these questions reflect a strategy thought out in advance, and to what extent do they represent an emerging pattern?</li>
